Public discussion and recommendation for the adoption of the Unified Development Code to both the Shreveport City Council and the Caddo Parish Commission
Council Chambers
Government Plaza, 1st Floor
505 Travis St.
6:00-8:00 PM

The primary goal of the UDC is to combine the land development regulations of the City and Parish into one simplified and updated Code of Ordinances, along with a new Zoning Map for the area within the jurisdiction of the MPC. The UDC is the tool that will be used to implement the vision established through the adopted Shreveport-Caddo 2030 Master Plan. There are many contradicting, duplicative, and unclear elements within the current ordinances and a primary goal of this process is to make it user friendly.

Interested parties wishing to speak during these public hearings may sign-up and register at any or both of these hearing. In addition to providing input at the public hearings, interested parties may also submit comments by clicking here.
